# Liftplay vs MIX Player

The clearest difference is ads: MIX Player at none against Liftplay's shown. MIX Player also leads on ratings volume (9 vs 1). Liftplay's advantage is review sentiment (32% vs 0%) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). On price, rating, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Liftplay sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and MIX Player sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.0 for Liftplay against 4.1 for MIX Player.
