# Momently vs Countdown

The clearest difference is price: Momently at Free against Countdown's $4.99. Momently also leads on ratings volume (60 vs 7). Countdown's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.5) and review sentiment (92% vs 75%). On update cadence, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Momently is free to download; Countdown costs $4.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Countdown holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Momently has 60 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Momently ships an update monthly, Countdown fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
