# Clear Wave vs Clear Wave

The clearest difference is ads: Clear Wave at none against Clear Wave's shown. Clear Wave also leads on review sentiment (74% vs 45%) and ratings volume (37K vs 687). Clear Wave's advantage is device support (4 vs 2) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, rating, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Clear Wave sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days and Clear Wave sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for Clear Wave against 4.6 for Clear Wave. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Clear Wave has 37K ratings behind it against 687, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 74% of Clear Wave's written reviews are positive against 45% of Clear Wave's.

Clear Wave ships an update every 3 weeks, Clear Wave monthly. Both last shipped on October 27, 2026.
