# Lifeway On Demand vs Praythru

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Praythru at 100% against Lifeway On Demand's 26%. Lifeway On Demand's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 3) and rating (4.8 vs 4.4). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Praythru sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Lifeway On Demand asks for nothing beyond the download.

Lifeway On Demand holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Lifeway On Demand has 1.9K ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 26% of Lifeway On Demand's written reviews are positive against 100% of Praythru's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Lifeway On Demand ships an update every 2 weeks, Praythru every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
