# Lifeway On Demand vs SitterScript

The clearest difference is monetization model: SitterScript at free against Lifeway On Demand's free with in-app purchases. SitterScript also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8). Lifeway On Demand's advantage is ratings volume (1.9K vs 2). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

SitterScript holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Lifeway On Demand has 1.9K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Lifeway On Demand ships an update every 2 weeks, SitterScript every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and September 29, 2026 respectively.
