# BuyNothing vs AddressLive

The clearest difference is review sentiment: AddressLive at 100% against BuyNothing's 27%. AddressLive also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.3) and in-app purchases (none vs 8). BuyNothing's advantage is ratings volume (2.1K vs 6) and chart position (#171 vs unranked). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BuyNothing sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. AddressLive asks for nothing beyond the download.

AddressLive holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: BuyNothing has 2.1K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 27% of BuyNothing's written reviews are positive against 100% of AddressLive's.

BuyNothing ships an update every 2 weeks, AddressLive every 2 days. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
