# BuyNothing vs The OsteoCollective

The clearest difference is rating: BuyNothing at 4.3 against The OsteoCollective's 3.0. BuyNothing also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (2.1K vs 2). The OsteoCollective's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 8). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BuyNothing sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. The OsteoCollective asks for nothing beyond the download.
