# BuyNothing vs Evers

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Evers at 100% against BuyNothing's 27%. Evers also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.3) and in-app purchases (none vs 8). BuyNothing's advantage is update cadence (every 8 days vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (2.1K vs 2). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BuyNothing sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Evers asks for nothing beyond the download.

Evers holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: BuyNothing has 2.1K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 27% of BuyNothing's written reviews are positive against 100% of Evers's.

BuyNothing ships an update every 8 days, Evers every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
