# GoTour Excursions vs Exempt

The clearest difference is rating: GoTour Excursions at 4.3 against Exempt's 2.1. GoTour Excursions also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). Exempt's advantage is ratings volume (96 vs 4) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

GoTour Excursions holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 2.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Exempt has 96 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.

GoTour Excursions ships an update every 2 months, Exempt fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
