# Cupla vs Motion Bed

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Motion Bed at none against Cupla's 10. Motion Bed also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7). Cupla's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (2.3K vs 5). On price, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Cupla sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Motion Bed asks for nothing beyond the download.

Motion Bed holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Cupla has 2.3K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 73% of Cupla's written reviews are positive against 71% of Motion Bed's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Cupla ships an update every 2 weeks, Motion Bed every 2 months. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
