# Cupla vs Lounge

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Lounge at none against Cupla's 15. Lounge also leads on review sentiment (92% vs 73%). Cupla's advantage is ratings volume (2.3K vs 372). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Cupla sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Lounge asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Cupla against 4.7 for Lounge. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Cupla has 2.3K ratings behind it against 372, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 73% of Cupla's written reviews are positive against 92% of Lounge's.

Cupla ships an update every 9 days, Lounge weekly. Both last shipped on October 27, 2026.
