# Welsh Trainer vs SaySomethingin

The clearest difference is rating: SaySomethingin at 4.0 against Welsh Trainer's 3.0. SaySomethingin also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 3 months). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Welsh Trainer sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and SaySomethingin sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $12.00 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SaySomethingin holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 3.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 2 and 8 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Welsh Trainer's written reviews are positive against 45% of SaySomethingin's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Welsh Trainer ships an update every 3 months, SaySomethingin every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
