# Monkiz vs Drop Store

The clearest difference is rating: Drop Store at 5.0 against Monkiz's 3.0. Drop Store also leads on update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 33 months). Monkiz's advantage is ratings volume (7 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Drop Store holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Monkiz has 7 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Monkiz ships an update every 33 months, Drop Store every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
