# Bee Notes vs Countdown

The clearest difference is update cadence: Countdown at every 2 days against Bee Notes's monthly. Bee Notes's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Bee Notes sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and Countdown sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Bee Notes ships an update monthly, Countdown every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
