# Avocards vs Flashy

The clearest difference is rating: Avocards at 4.3 against Flashy's 2.6. Avocards also leads on ratings volume (104 vs 5) and device support (3 vs 1). Flashy's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 10) and review sentiment (50% vs 30%). On price, update cadence, ads and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Avocards sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $4.49 per month. Flashy asks for nothing beyond the download.

Avocards holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 2.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Avocards has 104 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 30% of Avocards's written reviews are positive against 50% of Flashy's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Avocards ships an update every 6 days, Flashy every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
