# WATCHVIM vs V Media Player

The clearest difference is update cadence: V Media Player at every 3 weeks against WATCHVIM's every 2 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. WATCHVIM sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month and V Media Player sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
