# Paper Fold vs DOP Fun

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Paper Fold at 346K against DOP Fun's 16K. DOP Fun's advantage is iOS requirement (12.0 vs 14.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Paper Fold sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and DOP Fun sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for Paper Fold against 4.6 for DOP Fun. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Paper Fold has 346K ratings behind it against 16K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 41% and 41% positive.

Paper Fold ships an update every 3 weeks, DOP Fun fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 29, 2026.
