# Daybreak vs HabitCheck

The clearest difference is update cadence: HabitCheck at every 4 weeks against Daybreak's every 3 months. HabitCheck also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.5). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Daybreak sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and HabitCheck sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.49 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Daybreak ships an update every 3 months, HabitCheck every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
