# Bakstage vs ChatterApp.ai

The clearest difference is rating: Bakstage at 4.3 against ChatterApp.ai's 1.0. Bakstage also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (14 vs 1). ChatterApp.ai's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Bakstage holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bakstage has 14 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 85% of Bakstage's written reviews are positive against 100% of ChatterApp.ai's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Bakstage ships an update fortnightly, ChatterApp.ai every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
