# Write/Sprint vs InkSprint

The clearest difference is update cadence: InkSprint at every 2 weeks against Write/Sprint's every 7 months. Write/Sprint's advantage is iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Write/Sprint sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and InkSprint sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Write/Sprint ships an update every 7 months, InkSprint every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
