# WGTS 91.9 vs WPER

The clearest difference is ads: WGTS 91.9 at none against WPER's shown. WGTS 91.9 also leads on rating (4.9 vs 4.5) and ratings volume (3.2K vs 8). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

WGTS 91.9 holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: WGTS 91.9 has 3.2K ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 95% of WGTS 91.9's written reviews are positive against 100% of WPER's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

WGTS 91.9 ships an update every 3 months, WPER every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
