# Find Items vs Bluetooth Scanner

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Find Items at 50% against Bluetooth Scanner's 0%. Find Items also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 6). Bluetooth Scanner's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 9 months) and rating (4.4 vs 4.2). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Bluetooth Scanner sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Find Items asks for nothing beyond the download.

Bluetooth Scanner holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bluetooth Scanner has 309 ratings behind it against 51, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Find Items's written reviews are positive against 0% of Bluetooth Scanner's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Find Items ships an update every 9 months, Bluetooth Scanner fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
