# GoodFic vs Noveltime

The clearest difference is rating: Noveltime at 4.5 against GoodFic's 2.5. Noveltime also leads on review sentiment (50% vs 23%) and ratings volume (217 vs 15). GoodFic's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (weekly vs every 5 weeks). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. GoodFic sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days and Noveltime sells 7 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Noveltime holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 2.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Noveltime has 217 ratings behind it against 15, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 23% of GoodFic's written reviews are positive against 50% of Noveltime's.

GoodFic ships an update weekly, Noveltime every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 26, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
