# GoodFic vs TaleWave

The clearest difference is rating: TaleWave at 3.8 against GoodFic's 2.5. TaleWave also leads on ratings volume (83 vs 15). GoodFic's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. GoodFic sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days and TaleWave sells 15 in-app purchases, starting at $0.29 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

TaleWave holds the better App Store score, 3.8 against 2.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TaleWave has 83 ratings behind it against 15, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 23% of GoodFic's written reviews are positive against 25% of TaleWave's.

GoodFic ships an update weekly, TaleWave every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
