# New Vision vs Platinum

The clearest difference is rating: New Vision at 5.0 against Platinum's 4.0. New Vision also leads on iOS requirement (14.0 vs 18.0). Platinum's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks) and ratings volume (13 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

New Vision holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Platinum has 13 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

New Vision ships an update every 3 weeks, Platinum weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
