# Weight Loss Tracker vs True Progress

The clearest difference is ads: True Progress at none against Weight Loss Tracker's shown. True Progress also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months). Weight Loss Tracker's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 17.0). On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Weight Loss Tracker sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month and True Progress sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Weight Loss Tracker ships an update every 2 months, True Progress every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
