# Midicircuit vs PO

The clearest difference is rating: PO at 5.0 against Midicircuit's 4.0. PO also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs every 4 months) and device support. Midicircuit's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 3) and ratings volume (9 vs 1). On price, monetization model and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PO sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Midicircuit asks for nothing beyond the download.

PO holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Midicircuit has 9 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Midicircuit ships an update every 4 months, PO every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
