# Super Prison Escape vs Bad Dog!

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Bad Dog! at 80% against Super Prison Escape's 45%. Bad Dog! also leads on update cadence (daily vs every 2 months) and monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases). Super Prison Escape's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 4.2) and ratings volume (300 vs 6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Super Prison Escape holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Super Prison Escape has 300 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 45% of Super Prison Escape's written reviews are positive against 80% of Bad Dog!'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Super Prison Escape ships an update every 2 months, Bad Dog! daily. Both last shipped on October 30, 2026.
