# caTTho vs Chords Explorer

The clearest difference is update cadence: Chords Explorer at weekly against caTTho's every 7 months. Chords Explorer also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. caTTho sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Chords Explorer sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
