# Halodili vs BaseBites

The clearest difference is rating: Halodili at 3.6 against BaseBites's 2.2. BaseBites's advantage is review sentiment (14% vs 0%) and ratings volume (26 vs 5). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Halodili holds the better App Store score, 3.6 against 2.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: BaseBites has 26 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of Halodili's written reviews are positive against 14% of BaseBites's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Halodili ships an update weekly, BaseBites every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
