# ASTB Tutoring vs ASTB APP

The clearest difference is update cadence: ASTB APP at fortnightly against ASTB Tutoring's every 4 months. ASTB APP also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6). ASTB Tutoring's advantage is ratings volume (131 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ASTB Tutoring sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $19.99 per month and ASTB APP sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $17.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ASTB APP holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ASTB Tutoring has 131 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

ASTB Tutoring ships an update every 4 months, ASTB APP fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
