# Visual Note vs Da Capo

The clearest difference is rating: Da Capo at 5.0 against Visual Note's 4.2. Da Capo also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 73%). Visual Note's advantage is ratings volume (5 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Visual Note sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $12.90 per month and Da Capo sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.49 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Da Capo holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Visual Note has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
