# Visual Note vs AI Guitar Lessons & Teacher

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Visual Note at 73% against AI Guitar Lessons & Teacher's 40%. AI Guitar Lessons & Teacher's advantage is ratings volume (114 vs 5) and rating (4.4 vs 4.2). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Visual Note sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $12.90 per month and AI Guitar Lessons & Teacher sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $29.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

AI Guitar Lessons & Teacher holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AI Guitar Lessons & Teacher has 114 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 73% of Visual Note's written reviews are positive against 40% of AI Guitar Lessons & Teacher's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Visual Note ships an update every 10 days, AI Guitar Lessons & Teacher weekly. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and November 7, 2026 respectively.
