# MovieWatcht vs VPNBOOST

The clearest difference is rating: MovieWatcht at 3.0 against VPNBOOST's 1.7. MovieWatcht also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 3) and update cadence (every 3 days vs every 11 days). VPNBOOST's advantage is review sentiment (22% vs 0%) and iOS requirement (11.4 vs 15.1). On price, ratings volume, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. VPNBOOST sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $24.99 per month. MovieWatcht asks for nothing beyond the download.

MovieWatcht holds the better App Store score, 3.0 against 1.7. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 3 and 7 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of MovieWatcht's written reviews are positive against 22% of VPNBOOST's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

MovieWatcht ships an update every 3 days, VPNBOOST every 11 days. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
