# Follow vs 闪念

The clearest difference is update cadence: Follow at every 6 months against 闪念's every 14 months. Follow also leads on device support and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Follow sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and 闪念 sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Follow ships an update every 6 months, 闪念 every 14 months. The most recent releases landed on September 26, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
