# Follow vs Notifyman

The clearest difference is monetization model: Follow at free with in-app purchases against Notifyman's subscription. Follow also leads on ratings volume (46 vs 11) and device support (3 vs 1). Notifyman's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs every 6 months) and rating (4.9 vs 4.5). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Follow sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Notifyman sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Notifyman holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.5. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 46 and 11 respectively. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 87% and 87% positive.

Follow ships an update every 6 months, Notifyman every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
