# Follow vs Memoit

The clearest difference is rating: Memoit at 5.0 against Follow's 4.5. Memoit also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 6 months). Follow's advantage is review sentiment (87% vs 71%) and ratings volume (46 vs 6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Follow sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Memoit sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Memoit holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Follow has 46 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 87% of Follow's written reviews are positive against 71% of Memoit's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Follow ships an update every 6 months, Memoit every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
