# Lingo Legend Language Learning vs Slide Tap

The clearest difference is ads: Slide Tap at none against Lingo Legend Language Learning's shown. Slide Tap also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). Lingo Legend Language Learning's advantage is ratings volume (4.8K vs 10) and rating (4.9 vs 4.6). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Lingo Legend Language Learning sells 26 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Slide Tap sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Lingo Legend Language Learning holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Lingo Legend Language Learning has 4.8K ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 80% of Lingo Legend Language Learning's written reviews are positive against 86% of Slide Tap's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Lingo Legend Language Learning ships an update every 9 days, Slide Tap fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and September 20, 2026 respectively.
