# Focus Traveller vs Deeping

The clearest difference is update cadence: Deeping at every 5 days against Focus Traveller's every 2 months. Deeping also leads on review sentiment (95% vs 86%). Focus Traveller's advantage is ratings volume (4.1K vs 1). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Focus Traveller sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Deeping sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Focus Traveller against 5.0 for Deeping. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Focus Traveller has 4.1K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 86% of Focus Traveller's written reviews are positive against 95% of Deeping's.

Focus Traveller ships an update every 2 months, Deeping every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
