# Focus Traveller vs Eggtopia

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Eggtopia at none against Focus Traveller's 11. Eggtopia also leads on update cadence (every 11 days vs every 2 months) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 16.2). Focus Traveller's advantage is ratings volume (3.9K vs 3). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Focus Traveller sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Eggtopia asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Focus Traveller against 5.0 for Eggtopia. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Focus Traveller has 3.9K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Focus Traveller ships an update every 2 months, Eggtopia every 11 days. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and September 29, 2026 respectively.
