# Focus Traveller vs Focus Lock

The clearest difference is update cadence: Focus Lock at every 5 days against Focus Traveller's every 2 months. Focus Traveller's advantage is ratings volume (3.9K vs 1). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Focus Traveller sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Focus Lock sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Focus Traveller against 5.0 for Focus Lock. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Focus Traveller has 3.9K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Focus Traveller ships an update every 2 months, Focus Lock every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
