# Focus Traveller vs Timero

Focus Traveller and Timero both sit at 4.9 stars, but that hides the real split: 86% of Focus Traveller's written reviews are positive against 60% of Timero's. Focus Traveller also leads on ratings volume (4.1K vs 530). Timero's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Focus Traveller sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Timero sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Focus Traveller holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Focus Traveller has 4.1K ratings behind it against 530, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 86% of Focus Traveller's written reviews are positive against 60% of Timero's.

Focus Traveller ships an update every 2 months, Timero every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 5, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
