# Focus Traveller vs Pomodoro Timer

The clearest difference is update cadence: Pomodoro Timer at every 6 days against Focus Traveller's every 2 months. Focus Traveller's advantage is ratings volume (3.9K vs 2). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Focus Traveller sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Pomodoro Timer sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Focus Traveller against 5.0 for Pomodoro Timer. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Focus Traveller has 3.9K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Focus Traveller ships an update every 2 months, Pomodoro Timer every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
