# Focus Traveller vs Lofi Study Timer

The clearest difference is rating: Focus Traveller at 4.9 against Lofi Study Timer's 4.0. Focus Traveller also leads on ratings volume (3.9K vs 1) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 7 months). Lofi Study Timer's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 11) and review sentiment (100% vs 86%). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Focus Traveller sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Lofi Study Timer asks for nothing beyond the download.

Focus Traveller holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Focus Traveller has 3.9K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 86% of Focus Traveller's written reviews are positive against 100% of Lofi Study Timer's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Focus Traveller ships an update every 2 months, Lofi Study Timer every 7 months. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
