# Focus Traveller vs FocusPal

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Focus Traveller at 4.1K against FocusPal's 4. FocusPal's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 6 weeks) and review sentiment (100% vs 86%). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Focus Traveller sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and FocusPal sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Focus Traveller against 5.0 for FocusPal. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Focus Traveller has 4.1K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 86% of Focus Traveller's written reviews are positive against 100% of FocusPal's.

Focus Traveller ships an update every 6 weeks, FocusPal weekly. The most recent releases landed on November 7, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
