# Don Matón vs Yaopan

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Yaopan at 100% against Don Matón's 63%. Yaopan also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 5) and update cadence (every 2 days vs every 9 days). Don Matón's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 4.5) and ratings volume (218 vs 16). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Don Matón sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Yaopan asks for nothing beyond the download.

Don Matón holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Don Matón has 218 ratings behind it against 16, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 63% of Don Matón's written reviews are positive against 100% of Yaopan's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Don Matón ships an update every 9 days, Yaopan every 2 days. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
