# Real Estate Express Exam Prep vs ft Prep

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: ft Prep at none against Real Estate Express Exam Prep's 2. Real Estate Express Exam Prep's advantage is update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 7 months) and rating (4.6 vs 4.3). On price, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Real Estate Express Exam Prep sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $24.99 per month. ft Prep asks for nothing beyond the download.

Real Estate Express Exam Prep holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Real Estate Express Exam Prep has 323 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 75% of Real Estate Express Exam Prep's written reviews are positive against 80% of ft Prep's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Real Estate Express Exam Prep ships an update every 6 weeks, ft Prep every 7 months. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
