# Chess Ultimate vs Ball Clacks Battle | Simulator

Chess Ultimate and Ball Clacks Battle | Simulator both sit at 4.1 stars, but that hides the real split: 88% of Ball Clacks Battle | Simulator's written reviews are positive against 63% of Chess Ultimate's. Chess Ultimate's advantage is ratings volume (128 vs 8). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Chess Ultimate sells 6 one-off in-app purchases and Ball Clacks Battle | Simulator sells 7 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Chess Ultimate holds the better App Store score, 4.1 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Chess Ultimate has 128 ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 63% of Chess Ultimate's written reviews are positive against 88% of Ball Clacks Battle | Simulator's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Chess Ultimate ships an update every 4 days, Ball Clacks Battle | Simulator every 6 days. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
