# Investigator's Toolbox vs Hackerman

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Hackerman at 50% against Investigator's Toolbox's 0%. Investigator's Toolbox's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 3.7) and in-app purchases (none vs 2). On price, ads, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Hackerman sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Investigator's Toolbox asks for nothing beyond the download.

Investigator's Toolbox holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Investigator's Toolbox has 35 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of Investigator's Toolbox's written reviews are positive against 50% of Hackerman's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
