# Secure VPN vs Super VPN

The clearest difference is update cadence: Secure VPN at weekly against Super VPN's every 5 weeks. Secure VPN also leads on ratings volume (409 vs 51). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Secure VPN sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and Super VPN sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.4 for Secure VPN against 4.4 for Super VPN. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Secure VPN has 409 ratings behind it against 51, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 82% of Secure VPN's written reviews are positive against 75% of Super VPN's.

Secure VPN ships an update weekly, Super VPN every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
